There are clues that the rumoured Dacia Logan 'monospace' (codename J92, release 2011) will be based on the Nissan Kubistar NV200 (X11M). This Nissan will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show 2009. This same base may also be used for a new Renault Kangoo derivate.

The Nissan X11M, Kangoo K67 and Dacia monospace J92 will all be produced on the same productionline at a new to build production facility in Maroc. They all share the same B-platform. More information can be found here.

Dacia MAY show a coupé concept car at the Geneva Motor Show. This concept should reveal some of the design of future Dacia design. The coupe seems to be based on the Sandero and is rumoured to be designed in cooperation with Renault Sport. Six more images here

The Dacia Logan MCV will come at spring 2011 to Russia as Lada Logan MCV. The picture shows the prototype of the Lada front, based on the renewed Logan MCV.

No, there wasn't anybody from Poland. I saw some Germans and people from Belgium. But I didn't really 'advertise' to be an international meeting, because we knew it would already be hard to store al the Dutch Dacia's...

The World Book Of Records is concidered, however it was a too short notice to organize. Nevertheless, Dacia is looking into it.

Well, I guess I'm responsible for gathering the largest amount of Dacia's ever in the world...

Yesterday, on the 25th of May, a total of 550 Dacia's and over 2.000 Daciastics came together at the third Dutch Dacia Meeting.

And I had the honour of driving the first Dacia Sandero to the spot where it was presented. This was such a wonderfull day, simply unbelievable..!

At this moment, about 273 Dacia's will attent to the event. And we're still counting...

It's promised to be the largest Dacia event the world has ever seen...

It's actually a quite unique situation. The (private) website www.dacialoganmcv.nl has initiated the event, and Dacia The Netherlands participates.

The first country in the world to launch the new Dacia Sandero is The Netherlands. Next weekend, on sunday 25th of May, the Dacia Sandero will be presented to the Dutch public at the third Dutch Dacia Meeting. This is even before the official Romanian launch and therefore unique.

Over the past year, The Dutch Dacia Meeting has become the largest Dacia event in the world. This third editon every single Dacia owner in The Netherlands has received a personal invitation by mail. At least 150 Dacia's -still counting- including their owners, family and friends will attent. The Dutch Dacia Meeting is a initiative of www.dacialoganmcv.nl .

During the event there will be music from the Dutch group 'Alderliefste' and there is also a soccer tournament with former international Richard Witschge (he played for the Dutch national team, Ajax and F.C. Barcelona). Dacia-owners can have their car cleaned by a professional team and there will be free drinks and barbeque for everyone. But, of course, the main event that day will be the first launch of the Dacia Sandero..!

I agree, 'Prestige' is only adding some design elements and nothing really functional. At this stage there is nothing known about other (technical) changes or improvements.

Well, based on the pics it's obvious there will be a 'Prestige'-version, just like with the Sedan. I assume the technical specifications will stay unchanged: after all it's a re-design not a totall make-over. Maybe a dustfilter for the dCi motorized versions.

Hahaha... Great remark. As you can see it's a Photoshop version. Real life pictures are not (yet) available. Basicly, it's the same situation as with this image:

Also Photoshop, and it was published first at the site a week before the real spy pictures hit the streets. As you can see its was as close to reality as it could be...

What could or should 'change'..? These are actual pictures of the car as it is in production. Nothing will change frome here on...

Dacia has to move on. I understand that there is a group of 'early adopters' that would like to see everything stays the same. But let's face it; the current Logan wasn't even designed for the Western market. Dacia/Renault saw the immidiate succces of the Logan (MCV in particular) and is adjusting rapidly to this West-European market. I think it's worth a compliment that they can do this on such short notice.
